Safari Fever - Gecko Galz July DT Projects

 Well it is my day up at Gecko Galz - it is Safari Fever time!!!!

This month I made travelers notebook complete with embellished paperclips, coffee dyed paper and a few embellishments from my stash. 

Of course if you travel you need a momento box for all your treasures - so I altered a cigar box I found at a garage sale.  I love the end result!!!

And of course, I used up some scraps from my stash with these incredible images to make some fabulous cards!!!!

Christmas Desktop Calendar

 Hello everyone.  Just popping in to share my latest DT project for Aall Scrapbook Essentials.  I created this project with the Graphic 45 book box, the Vicki Boutin Evergreen & Holly paper pack, the Graphic 45 tag die and a few pieces from my stash.  This will work great on my desk, on the counter, on an end table or anywhere a gorgeous Christmas calendar is needed.  I thoroughly enjoyed making this project.

Simple Vintage Christmas Lodge Gift Box

So excited to be working on Christmas projects!!! Here is my latest DT project for Aall Scrapbook Essentials. This project features Simple Stories Simple Vintage Christmas Lodge, Woodland bits and the Graphic 45 Window Shoulder Box. I love how quick this came together and how versatile this project is. I have included a link to my YouTube video where you can create along with me as we build this project from start to finish. So let's get creating.

 Okay I did it again - this month's DT project for Ephemoire Digital Design #ephpop is an exploding gift box with TWO mini albums! Because why have 1 when you can have two!! The base is one album, and the LID turns into an album, too! I used the Daisy and Denim collection and can't wait to give this one as a gift.

A Quiet Moment

Hello everyone!!!

I know it has been a long time since I had a few minutes to stop by and say hi.  But, I have a rare quiet moment so I thought I would do just that.  

I have been creating and figured I had better share a few of my creations with you - sorry for being lax over the past few months.

Here is a walkthrough of my Graphic 45 Christmas Time house and coordinating mini album.  I love this collection and will have a tutorial for the house in the next few days so watch for it.  The mini album tutorial will be posted in the future.

For the past 4 years I have thought about trying to become a Graphic 45 Brand Ambassador.  So, in the absolute busiest time of the year me - tax season- I am going to give it a shot.  Wish me luck.

The Scrap Hovel

Good morning everyone!!!  Today I wanted to show my craft room or Scrap Hovel as I like to call it.  This is my sanctuary.  It is not a huge a space but it works for me and I wanted to share as I love seeing other craft spaces.  Have a great day and I look forward to seeing your comments.

When you have no plan...

As many of you know, I like to create with just a vague plan - that way I am always surprised in how things turn out.  For this project all I have decided on is the paper.  I am using Graphic 45's A Perfect Gentleman Deluxe Collectors Edition.  After that sky is the limit. 

So what does it mean to start a project with no plan?  Often it can mean cutting, scoring, recutting and so on.  Is this how things have started with this project?  You bet and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Here is a glimpse at the beginning.  I will post more as the project progresses.

Hello everyone here is the start of my latest project using a Graphic 45 Square tag and pocket album as well as the Tropical Travelogue, City Scapes and Penny's Paper Dolls Family collections.  I decided to change things up, turn the album into a suitcase and build a little steamer trunk to go with it.

This was a very fun project.  The only plan I had was the products I was using, after that, it was simply whatever my creative brain came up with.  I must say I have the most fun when I just start sticking stuff down and just let the process happen.  One of these days I may plan a project out start to finish....or not...
